Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am.
The Mitsubishi two button cases I ordered on 29th July were received today 31st July in Adelaide via Express Post, and the internals from the old remotes have been assembled into them. They work perfectly and are like new again.

To Joe & the Reid’s Remotes team,
I needed 2 extra remotes for a 20 year old B & D panel lift door that is no longer available.
Everyone else told me that I needed to buy a new motor/ receiver & remotes. (Around $800-$1000).
Joe & the team sorted out my dilemma quickly & easily by setting me up with 2 new remotes & a receiver that runs in parallel with my existing system & saved me a fortune.
They programmed the remotes, prewired the receiver & power supply & supplied simple instructions on how to get it going. The installation took all of about 5 minutes to do.
I live in Queensland & Reid’s is in WA so they sent everything via the post which arrived quickly & for a very minimal cost. Also got plenty of advice from Joe over the phone before I purchased everything.
These guys have the best customer service that I have found anywhere for anything iv ever purchased, (big call but it’s true) & would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone that has an issue with their remote controlled garage doors.

We needed 2 x 3 button Jeep WK remote fobs to replace our old dying ones. Our Jeep dealership in Cairns told us they didn't have any and there were none available in the National Inventory system. I found Reid's remotes online and contacted them to confirm they had 2. They had them shipped to me in Cairns in a couple of days at a cost way less than the dealership. My goodness, what a lifesaver. Called in just before 5 on a Friday to buy a new fob for my Autowatch immobiliser not looking forward to have to pull my dash apart to get the code to program it only to be told they could repair the old one and replace the micro switch, cover and batteries. I'm more than happy to provide this review for Reids Remotes as I've had always had excellent customer service from their team.
When I purchased a 2nd hand car recently I was unaware it only came with one keyless remote which left me in a jam. Having used Reids Remotes before for replacement garage door remotes, I left my car with them for the afternoon to have a new remote coded. Unfortunately having tried several methods over a few hours they were unable to code a new remote. Undeterred they sought help from their national supplier, downloaded new software which contained an update specific to my vehicle, and were able to code the new remote the next day.
And all for less than half the cost of a new remote from the dealer. The team at Reids Remotes goes above and beyond to meet their customers' needs. Well done team!

After spending around sixty dollars on three different types of remotes from three different companies all saying that our remotes will definitely work for my swing gate motor, Reids Remotes when the extra mile to ensure that the product supplied to me (from the other side of the country mind you) was correct for purpose and it was. I had a replacement remote made up in the South West, but had problem after problem and gave up for the next three years. I was then referred by friends to Reid's Remotes. One phone call to Jill who queried an unusual car, Peugeot 308 diesel and returned my call in the affirmative. Called in the next day and received immediate service and 40 minutes later was advised that all was ready. An old, broken remote key was replaced with a new one and a second new remote key worked perfectly. As an added bonus, Reid's supplied two new keys for the price I paid in the South West for one faulty new key. Do not go anywhere else.

24/2/25 : I found this place on Google when I was searching for a replacement remote for my car alarm with a photo of the old remote. The button had worn out on my case so that I had to resort to pushing the button on the circuit board with a key. I was worried about having to reprogram a new remote and also that my car is over 30 years old. Really happy to find out that these guys are in Perth. This place is amazing and appear to have every remote for car alarms, garage doors and home alarms known to man. The Staff are super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They found a brand new case for my remote straight away and while I was there I noticed that they had new cases for my garage door remote, so I picked up one of those as well. I saved nearly $130.00 on buying the 2 remotes, so it cost a quarter of what it would have cost to buy the remotes on EBAY. Once I swapped the circuit boards over they just worked. Outstanding find, highly recommended. I'd give them 6 ☆'s if I could.

When faced with a broken key or key-fob the usual reaction may be to go to the vehicle dealer - this is expensive - v e r y -- so one may find potential solutions via online shops ... tantalising ... look at youtube videos showing how ‘straightforward’ it is to do you own fix with the cheap parts ... or go to a booth-pop-up in a shopping mall .... well, i've done them all, excepting the exorbitantly priced auto dealer option.
I became frustrated with all these options and in 'desperation' looked for a reasonably & realistically priced professional - it was REIDS REMOTES conveniently located in East Victoria Park.
A date/time was negotiated over the phone and i took my VW Amarok and all the key related items (including the broken and cheap web-shop purchases) to their clean and tidy facility, reading emails and related documents on my iPad whilst comfortably seated in their front lounge area. Before my work was done, their work was done!
Actually, it was a most satisfactory arrangement, and for the price of one 'dealer' priced item i got two new functioning remotes for my Amarok.
In summary, the friendly couple at REIDS REMOTES provide a service that is far superior to any of the alternatives - professional, reliable, fair price, and with a friendly smile that is genuine.
