Hyundai Santa Fe DM emergency key blade 81996-2W040 for smart remote proximity key HY19

This genuine 81996-2W040 emergency key blade fits inside the Hyundai Santa Fe DM style proximity remote keys of the type shown in the photos. The emergency key blade is released by pressing the small round silver button on the remote body and sliding out the emergency key.

This one here uses the Silca HYN17R or JMA HY-19 shape and you will notice this has a fairly wide square edge groove along the right edge of the key blade on both sides. This type of key is milled out along the left side of this groove and is usually referred to as a wave cut of laser cut.

This key will need to be duplicated or cut to match your existing key. We can do this in our shop in East Victoria Park WA 6101 or you can have it done at any good locksmith shop where you live.
