Mini Cooper HU100R emergency key blade for use in FEM smart key 2014-2018

This emergency key blade is designed for use in Mini smart proximity keys on the FEM or BDC platform. These models will have an F chassis type such as F55, F56, F60 etc.
The key is longer and narrower than the older type keys and uses the Silca HU100R.

Mini Cooper models before approx 2014/15 used a round slot remote key which had the buttons around the top edge. These older fobs used a HU92R emergency blade and a CAS based security system.
Later models with F chassis numbers use a slightly larger remote fob and the emergency key blade is also longer and narrower using a Silca HU100R profile. THis emergency key here matches that profile and only suits the remote fob style shown in the images.
The key blade will need to be cut to match your existing key blade. We can do that for you at our East Victoria Park workshop or you can have it done locally where you live. We reccomend using a licensed locksmith for this service.
