Mercedes & VW compatible JMA ME-7 or Silca HU64 flip key blade

This high quality Silca HU64 or JMA ME-7 compatible flip key blade will fit our range of aftermarket universal flip keys.

The HU64 key blade profile is used extensively with Mercedes vehicles. The early models of VW Crafter were a joint venture between Mercedes and VW and so they use this HU64 key blade also, paired with a VW flip key.

This type of key is milled along one edge and is sometimes referred to as a wave cut as the resulting surface looks like it has waves in it.

You will notice from the photo that the end of the key blade has a groove in it where the roll pin fits. The location of this groove and the dimensions of the end of the blade suits our aftermarket flip keys and will not fit genuine Mercedes or VW flip keys. 

To secure this key blade to the flip key we use a small roll pin. When we have cut the key blade it is then fitted to the flip key body.

If you are buying this key blade along with a remote flip key and are going to have it cut & programmed where you live we will include a roll pin in the package with the key blade so that the locksmith who cuts the keyblade for you can secure it to the flip key.
