Top quality aftermarket key shell which can be used to replace a damaged original round headed key that comes with the Smart ForTwo W450 models.
The pack includes the front and back sections of the key shell along with an uncut key blade.
If the plastic part of your original key is damaged but the remote still works you can swap it over into this new key shall and save yourself lots of money on replacing the entire key. If the remote of your original key no longer works we can also make you a complete key as shown under compatible items. It is a flip key instead of a plastic headed key.
In the photos you will see how to open your key using a flat blade screw driver. Please be careful when doing this to not damage the circuit board inside the key.
The keyblade in the new key shell will need to be cut to match your original key.
We offer this service at our East Victoria Park workshop or you can have it cut at your local locksmith.
We charge $40 to cut the key and swap over the electronics. We will also test the battery and ensure everything is working correctly.
