Many of the newer Kia and Hyundai smart keys come with a sticker on the back which shows the part number. If this has been removed you will need to supply your VIN to a dealer to get the correct part number for your key.

This aftermarket smart key comes with the emergency key blade included.

Cutting the key and programming to the vehicle NOT included.

Please remove the emergency key from your existing remote and compare the key profile to those in the photos to esnure your key is the same profile. Press the small silver rectangular button on the back of the remote to release the emergency blade and just slide it out.

The standard emergency key which comes with the remote uses the JMA HY-11 or Silca HYN14R key profile as shown in the attached images.

The remote comes with a battery already fitted and the battery type is listed under "Compatible Items" should you need a spare for your old key.

This key uses aN ID4A transponder chip and the remote transmits on 433.92 MHz FSK

This type pf smart key can only be programmed to the car using a special diagnostic device plugged into the vehicle. We can do this service for you for an additional fee.

You original remote has buttons symbols for - LOCK - UNLOCK - BOOT - REMOTE START and so the 4th button on this aftermarket fob will have the same function for remote start but has a different symbol.

In terms of size this aftermarket fob is a little larger than the original ones but it more sturdy;

This one measures 76 X 41 X 19 and the genuine fob measures 74 x 40 x 18.
