SEA Coccinella Uni - 4 button gate remote

This Sea Coccinella Uni remote can be set to operate in a 3 different modes including:

Fixed Code mode

Rolling Code mode

Rolling Code Plus mode

YOUR REMOTE MUST HAVE THE HIDDEN BUTTON IN THE SIDE - IF IT DOES NOT HAVE THE HIDDEN BUTTON YOU CANNOT USER THIS REMOTE AND SHOULD CHOOSE THE COCCINELLA COPY REMOTE INSTEAD

The instructions that come with the remote explain how to swap the modes. It is vital that you know which mode your receiver is working in currently. If your old remote was Fixed Code then you must set the new remote to Fixed Code mode before you start the Self Learning process or coding it to the receiver directly. This is explained in more detail below also.

The same applies if your old remote is a Rolling Code Plus (Roll Plus). You must put the new remote into Roll Plus mode before you use the Self Learning process or code it to the receiver as in Rolling Code Mode the new remote will code into the receiver but will not operate to the same transmission distance as the Roll Plus.

CHECK STICKER ON THE BACK OF YOUR OLD REMOTE TO CONFIRM THE MODE

The new remote measures just 42 MM X 71 MM X 14 MM. It uses 1 x 23AE 12 Volt battery.

This is a rolling code remote and operates on 433 Mhz by default.

CHANGING MODE:

Rolling Code or Rolling Code Plus to Fixed Code: Hold down buttons 3 and 4 on the new remote at the same time until the LED on the remote flashes 3 times (should take approx. 7-9 seconds) – Your new remote is now in Fixed Code Mode. In this mode the LED stays on when a button is pressed.

Fixed Code to Rolling Code: Hold down buttons 1 and 2 on the new remote at the same time until the LED on the remote flashes 2 times (should take approx. 7-9 seconds) – Your new remote is now in Rolling Code Mode. In this mode the LED flashes slowly when a button is pressed.

Rolling Code to Rolling Code Plus: Hold down buttons 1 and 2 on the new remote at the same time until the LED on the remote flashes 1 time only (should take approx. 7-9 seconds) – Your new remote is now in Rolling Code Plus Mode. In this mode the LED flashes quickly when a button is pressed.

Rolling Code Plus to Rolling Code: Hold down buttons 1 and 2 on the new remote at the same time until the LED on the remote flashes 2 times (should take approx. 7-9 seconds) – Your new remote is now in Rolling Code Mode. In this mode the LED flashes slowly when a button is pressed.

As you will see from the photos this remote comes in a variety of colours but we only have the blue remote in stock currently. The blue remote can replace any of the other colours as long as it is set to the correct mode using the steps above. If unsure send us a photo of the inside of your remote with the part sticker in place if possible.
