Holden VE Commodore 2 button flip or fixed blade remote key button pad replacement

We know it can be very frustrating when the button pad on your key crumbles and so it is difficult to press the button to lock or unlock the car. You don't need to worry or think that you must replace your entire remote.

Here we offer you a top quality replacement rubber button pad to make your key look like new again. This button pad has the symbols for LOCK & UNLOCK only.

To separate the remote part from the key part, place a flat blade screw driver in the slot across the back of the remote. Gently press it down and twist and the 2 sections will come apart. 

Now if you look at the end that was inside the key part you will see a small 5 mm wide slot. Again carefully place a small to medium flat blade screw driver in this slot and twist. This will lift the button pad off the rest of the remote.

It is always a good idea to test the battery as you have the remote open anyway. This can be done using a multi-meter if you have one. 

The change over is pretty easy to do yourself or come into our shop in East Victoria Park and we will swap them over for you, test the battery and check that transmitter is functioning correctly afterwards.
