Mongoose MRC1202 2 button black car alarm remote control

This genuine Mongoose MRC1202 2 button car alarm remote works with a number of different car alarm, central locking or immobiliser systems from Mongoose including:

M550 (AA500)

M560

MX50

M1200 MKII

AM1600

AM3000

The remote operates on 304 MHz and has a RED LED.

The circuit board of this remote should have the following numbers printed on it - 339 A17 DTOI. The remote has no model number on the case and there are other very similar looking remotes on the market that are not the same so it is vital you check what system is fitted to your vehicle before purchasing this remote.

The IC chip in this remote is a NDI32T A626K0771.

THIS REMOTE IS NO LONGER BEING MADE - ONCE WE RUN OUT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RE-STOCK THEM. IF YOU CANNOT FIND A REMOTE YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE ALARM SYSTEM IN YOUR VEHICLE.

If you do not have a working remote you will need to find your over-ride code from the owners manual.

Below you will see the coding instructions for the different types of systems that this remote can be used with.

MX50, M560

1. Disarm by existing remote, or use the override
2. Ignition ON and press override button 4 times and hold down on 4th press (siren chirps after 3rd press)
3. Press arm button on first remote (siren chirps)
4. Press arm button on second remote (siren chirps)
5. Repeat for any other remotes
6. Release the override button and turn ignition OFF
7. NOTE: existing remotes must be re-learnt at the same time

M550 - AA500 - M1200MKII - AM1600 - AM3000

1. Gain access to alarm module from under the dashboard or wherever it's concealed
2. Locate the programming switch inside the module - (micro-switch next to dip switches)
3. Disarm by existing remote, or use the override
4. Ignition ON
5. Press programming switch 4 times and hold down on 4th press (siren chirps after 3rd press)
6. Press arm button on first remote (siren chirps)
7. Press arm button on second remote (siren chirps)
8. Repeat for any other remotes
9. Release the switch and turn ignition OFF
10. Re-assemble the dashboard
