Mongoose MRC30 4 button car alarm remote control

This genuine Mongoose MRC30 4 button car alarm remote works with a number of different car alarm, central locking or immobiliser systems. It operates on 315 MHz and has a RED LED.

The circuit board of this remote should have the following numbers printed on it - CC317-RRF01. The remote has no model number on the case and there are other very similar looking remotes on the market that are not the same so it is vital you check what system is fitted to your vehicle before purchasing this remote.

The silver transmitter on the front of the circuit board has NDR315D engraved on it to confirm it works on 315 MHz.

If you do not have a working remote you will need to find your over-ride code from the owners manual.

You must also locate the programming button or switch, usually located in the panel near the accelerator pedal of your vehicle.

Below you will see the coding instructions for the systems that this remote can be used with.

To learn new remotes  follow steps below - may be easier with 2 people:

1. Disarm the system with your old remote or over-ride
2. Open the driver's door
3. Press & hold in the programming button/switch located near accelerator pedal
4. Insert key in ignition and turn from OFF to ON position 3 times in 5 seconds, leaving in the ON position on 3rd turn.
5. Status LED on dash should illuminate solid to indicate car is in programming mode
6. Press & release any button on your old remote
7. Press & release any button on your new remote
8. Turn ignition OFF and release programming button/switch to exit programming mode.
