Vision VAE 318 TX8-2, 2 button rolling code remote control

VAE make a number of remote controls in this style and it is vital you check the details on the IC chip on the circuit board to ensure you are choosing the correct replacement. There were also older remotes that used this case but a different circuit board and these were made for Mazda, Suzuki & Toyota and all had the car brands name printed on the case. This remote is not compatible with any of those.

This remote operates on 303.9 MHz.

This remote can replace a number of older VAE remotes which use the same chip as shown in the photos attached including:

VAE TX22

VAE 318-TX8-2 (single button version)

DEFENSE PAK - RED LED REMOTE

If your remote uses a chip starting in AX it is fixed code and can be cloned in store.

This remote can be coded to the vehicle yourself but if you do not have a working remote you may need a friend to help, as you will need to disarm the system by removing the negative batter terminal and replacing it and you only have 10 seconds to commence the next step of the process.
