This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This remote can only be programmed to the vehicle using diagnostic equipment connected to the vehicle. We can do this for you at our shop or you can have this done by a licensed locksmith or licensed mechanic.

Please check the front of your remote to ensure it says Hyundai on it as there are some aftermarket remotes on the market that look very similar to this but are not the same.

The remote comes with a battery already fitted and the type of battery used is listed under Compatible items if you need a spare.
