Range Rover Sport 2006 - 2010 - 3 button flip key 433 MHz ID46

The genuine Land Rover flip key used with these vehicles has a rechargable battery that cannot be replaced and so when it runs out you will need to replace the entire key. They usually last around 10-12 years. This high quality aftermarket flip key is perfect for that situation or simply if you need a spare key for your vehicle.

Coding a new key can generally only be done if you have a key already and so losing your only key can end in a very very expensive exercise to get a new one coded to your vehicle.

We strongly reccomend you always have a spare key for your vehicle.

This remote transmits on 433 MHz so please check the details in the slot where the key is folded into to see if your key matches. Most Land Rover & Range Rover models in Australia use 433 MHz but some imported models may operate on 315 MHz and so are not compatible with this key.

This key can also be used with Land Rover Discovery 3 vehicles which use an identical looking key.

If you look on your original key in the area where the key blade is stored when the key is folded you should see details including:

Feel free to email us a photo of the details on your key if you are not certain it is correct. If the shell on your original key has been replaced of course the details may vary from these or on some replacement shells there are no details at all in that area. You can always drop into our shop and we can scan the key to identify the chip and check the frequency of the remote.

This key features the symbols for LOCK & UNLOCK on the top 2 buttons and the other button is under the Land Rover symbol.

This key can only be coded to the vehicle using a diagnostic tool when at least 1 key is available. We can do this and cut the key blade at out store in East Victoia Park in Perth or you can have it done by your local licensed locksmith.

This key features the HU101 key blade profile which is cut using a milling type key machine often referred to as a wave cut or laser cut.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
