VW Golf MK7 VII OEM 3 button MQB Flip key 5GO 959 752 DD

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This OEM VW 3 button flip key is compatible with a number of VW cars including; Golf, Polo, Tiguan & Touran as long as the key being used with the vehicle now matches the details below.

This key uses the new VAG MQB 48-A1 EM4170 transponder chip and the remote transmits on 433 Mhz

These OEM remote flip keys are supplied without a key blade but we will supply one with the key as standard. PLease check the photos carefully as this key will be supplied with the HU66 shown in the photo. For some models, particularly the Tiguan you many require the HU162 key blade. If your key blade looks different to that one in the photos pelase send us a photo of it and we will confirm which key blade profile you require. 

THIS TYPE OF KEY CAN ONLY BE PROGRAMMED USING SPECIALIST DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO THE VEHICLE. WE ARE LICENSED TO DO THIS TYPE OF WORK AND YOU CAN BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ON (08) 6110 2693.

We generally need between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to program one of these keys to a vehicle, as the time needed to access the online server can vary depending on how many others are in the queue on the day. Please ensure you allow enough time for this job to be completed. We have ample parking onsite if you wish to drop off your car and come back later to collect it. We are next to Oat Street train station if you wish to grab a train into the city and come back at the end of the day.
