Honda Jazz 2002 - 2005 G8D-380H-A 313 MHz ID13 chip 2 button remote flip key

You can choose from a number of 2 button options but we have listed here the most popular and most suited to this vehicle. This stylish and solid Honda compatible 2 button remote flip key can be coded to your Honda Jazz model between 2002 and 2005 as long as the part numbers on your original remote module match to: G8D-380H-A Freq. 313 MHZ with an ID13 transponder chip 

Please check the images for more information on where to look for the part number on your original remote. You can also double check the VIN of your vehicle to check if this key is correct for you.

Please note G8D-379H-A can be used as a part number on a few different Honda keys in both 2 and 3 button vatieties. The remote can be used with a few different transponder chips and so it is vital you check the details of your key very carefully.

This separate key uses an ID13 transponder chip key. The chip can either be cloned from your original using special equipment or a new ID13 chip can be coded to your vehivle using a diagnostic scan tool by a licensed repairer such as ourselves.

The remote part is paired to the vehicle using what is called an onboard process, where you use an already registered key and follow the instructions provided to turn on and off the ignition and then press buttons on the new remote etc. We provide these instructions will all purchases or we can do the entire process for you at our shop in East Victoria Park WA 6101.

Please note the Dimensions in mm (L X W X D) given under the Data Sheet are for the body of the flip key when it is folded and so does not include the key blade. As many keys are not rectangular we measure the item at the widest or longest point.

This flip key has a number of advantages over the OEM plastic shell remote key in that:

1. The flip key contruction is more compact than the separate OEM key & remote

2. The flip key folds so it is easier to store in your pocket or bag

3. The flip key will not tear the lining of your pockets as the key folds away and so will not dig into your lining.

4. The flip key is more stylish and appaealing to most customers.

As these are generic flip keys the circuit boards start off blank and using special equipment we write the appropriate coded to the circuit board to suit this vehicle. You may see identical looking flip keys for sale elsewhere listing other vehicles and so even though they look identical they will have different information on the circuit board and so will not necessarlily work with your vehicle.

The flip key is supplied with a battery fitted and a key blade and roll pin. The key blade will need to be cut to match the vehicle and then it will need to be fitted to the flip key body using the roll pin supplied with it. Any locksmith will be able to do this for you if you are having it done locally where you live.

We only cut Honda keys to factory code using a computerised key cutting machine. Honda locks are quiet complex internally and badly duplicated keys can become jammed in the ignition.

Always check how the locksmith intends to cut your key before proceeding. We decode your original key and ensure that matches to a factory code. This code is then used to cut the new key so it is exactly as the key would have been when the car left the factory. If we cannot decode your key due to excessive wear we will not proceed.

There is a recess on the back of the flip key where you can place a 14mm logo sticker if you wish but please note it is not supplied with one.
