Hyundai I30 PD 2017 onward 3 button flip key aftermarket

We offer a number of styles of aftermarket flip keys. These keys can be encoded to replace a huge list of vehicles.

This listing here is for Hyundai I30 PD models built from 2017 onward, using a 3 button flip key.

The key blade for this key matches the Silca KIA9 or KD-HYN#156 key profile as used on newer Hyundai vehicles in the last few years. See photos for more information on what the key blade looks like.

This key uses an ID60-80 TEXAS CRYPTO transponder chip.

If you are not certain which key you need for your vehicle, please email us a photo of the VIN sticker from the door frame of your car. An example of what the sticker looks like is shown in the photos attached. From this we can advise what you need and which options you have from OEM or aftermarket.

The Hyundai I30 PD series can take a maximum of 4 remote controls and a maximum of 8 transponder chips programmed to the vehicle. All remotes and transponders are first deleted and then re-programmed to the vehicle in the programming procedure.

This table below is designed to give you a better idea of the size of the different flip keys. The dimensions and weight do not take into account the key blade, just the body of the flip key at the widest or longest points as some are not rectangular in shape as you will see from the photos. This key will need to be cut and coded to your vehicle. This is a pretty straight forward process if you already have a working key but if you have lost your only key this process becomes much more complicated and expensive. It is always advisable to have a spare key, even if the key does not have the remote part as this will save you hundreds of dollars if you lose your flip key.

We can do this cut & code service for you at our workshop in East Victoria Park WA or you can have it done by a licensed locksmith close to where you live.

PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL LOCKSMITH BEFORE ORDERING AS NOT ALL LOCKSMITHS WILL CODE A KEY IF THEY DID NOT SUIPPLY IT.

The transponder chip and remote can only be coded using diagnostic equipment and so cannot by coded by the user themselves unless you have this specialist equipment.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

If you suspect your child has swallowed a button battery or placed inside any part of the body, immediately call the POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE on 13 11 26 for prompt advice. If your child is having any difficulty breathing, contact 000.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
