Centsys Nova Helix 4 button rubber pad replacement

This is agenuine product made by Centsys for use in the new Centsys Nova Helix remote controls which have a blue, grey, green and red button. As the dimensions are identical to all previous Centsys remote controls you can also use this item to replace worn out rubber button pads in the old all blue Nova remotes, the Red Classic or Green Smart remotes as long as you are not bothered by the different colours.

The pad can easily be cut to use it with a 1, 2 or 3 button remote, just make sure to always place the blue button as button number 1 as the top of the pad has a cut away section to fit around the remote control LED lense.

The pad features raised dots to indicate the number of each button also from 1 to 4.

The old all blue buttons in the Centsys Nova remotes would commonly wear out particularly in hotter parts of the country or where users often left the remote in their car.

This offers a cheap and top quality reapir for such occassions.

To remove the remote body from the keyring holder, simply twist it 90 degrees and it will pop out of the holder. You will now see a slot on the bottom of the remote case. Insert a flat blade screw drive in this slot and twist to open the case.

Once open remove the battery as this makes it wasier to then remove the circuit board. Once the circuit board is removed you can easily replace the buton pad. Once replaced return the circuit board and battery taking note of the + and - symbols on the case to place the battery the correct way round.

Close up the case and replace it in the outer holder and your remote is now good as new again.
