TMT Automation KP2-4182-001 wireless keypad transmitter for swing or sliding gate

The KP2 wireless keypad remote transmitter can be programmed to a number of different TMT Automation branded swing or sliding gate motors using the fitted receiver in the gate control panel or the optional external receiver.

This wireless keypad remote is compact in size and weather resistant.

The keypad operates on 2 AAA batteries which are NOT included. 

Function description and operation (factory settings):

1st digit is the function code, 2nd to 5th digits are the password or pin code.
Press the function code to start and press the 4 digit password within 10 seconds and press OK button to action the operation.
Press C button to cancel the operation

Function codes 1, 2 & 3 are for channel 1 control. Function code 4 is for 2nd channel control.

Password default setting:
11111: Press 11111 for dual gate operation (Same function as button A on your remote)
21111: Press 21111 for single gate operation (Same function as button B on your remote)
31111: Press 31111 for external receiver operation (Same function as button C on your remote)

42222: Press 42222 for dual gate operation. This function can be defined as the second password for access. E.g. one time password for visitors

Note 1: The operation will be locked for 30 seconds following 3 wrong passwords within 30 seconds

Note 2: The red light flash indicates the wrong password has been entered

Note 3: Function definition can be altered by the installer via the gate settings and so the above factory setting may have been changed.

Pairing the new keypad to the receiver:

Fit 2 x AAA batteries to the new keypad as described in the instructions.
Press the RF button on the receiver circuit board or gate control board - enter the code 11111 + OK on the keypad to complete the pairing process.

Setting your secure password:

Step 1: Press C button for 10 seconds - you will hear a beeping noise with red/blue flashing light
Step 2: Press 11111+OK to set password for channel 1 or 42222+OK for channel 2. You should hear 2 beeps and have a blue light to indicate you are in password change mode. If the flashing light is red please restart from Step 1.
Step 3: Enter your new 4 digit password + OK. If you hear 2 beeps  and a blue light on - your password has been set successfully. If you have a red flashing light - please restart from Step 1.
Step 4: Re-enter the new 4 digit password + OK. You should get 3 beeps and a blue flashing light to confirm the password has been changed successfully.

To Delete a password and reset to factory:

Press the RESET button on the back side of the PCB in the keypad as shown in the photos for 5 seconds. Afer you hear a long beep the password has been reset to factory setting. After it is reset you can enter a new secret password by following the steps above.
