HB King cloning transponder chip for use with Handy Baby device

This type of transponder is generally known as a "CLONING" chip in that it is used with a cloning device to copy the data from a working key onto a new chip. The new chip is then recognised by the vehicle as being the same as the oringinal.

It is not generally user programmable except if the user has a Handy Baby cloning device already and a working key to clone from.

This type of chip is often know as a carbon chip and they are very small and can easily be lost when a car key is opened up to change the remote battery. they are actually made of a plastic coating to protect the RFID circuit inside it.

Without a working chip in the key head of the key, the car will not start as this chip contains security information that the car looks for every time the ignition it turned to start the car.

There are many versions of these carbon or plastic chips and all have different types of information in them.

These ones here normally have the code KING or K-JMD printed on them in blue and the older versions were coloured lighe blue.
