This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Honda CRV compatible 2 button proximity key to suit models using a 72147-T0A-711 remote and where the VIN of the vehicle matches the digits shown here: MRHRM###0D####### (The digits denoted by a # do not matter but all the other digits must match)

If you are unsure you can remove the emergency key from your remote and you will see the part umber for your key. To remove the emergency key blade, slide the release button on the corner of the remote in the direction of the arrow on it and slide out the emergency blade.

This proximity key uses an ID46 Hitag 2 PCF7953 type integrated transponder and will need to be programmed to your vehicle using diagnostic equipment. We are licensed to do this and you can book an appointment at our East Victoria park workshop on (08) 6110 2693. We will generally need the vehicle for approx 45 minutes to complete the work.

We cut all Honda keys to code to ensure you get the most accurate key possible. Keys that are duplicated from a work key can cause damage to your locks.

The key is supplied with the emergency keyblade and a battery fitted.

There is a space on the back of the remote for a logo sticker but it is ot included in the price. We will add one for you free of charge if we are programming the key also.
