Honda 4 button slimline car key shell replacement

The most important thing to check is whether your key is the old type rounds button remote key or the new slimline type to match the images above.

These slimline Honda keys are only 11.5 mm at the fattest point and so the remotes from the older style keys will NOT fit into this key shell.

Even if your vehicle is not listed above you may still have an identical key to this one and if that is the case then this key shell will suit your key. Why replace your entire remote key just because the case or shell has broken away from the key blade. Here we offer you a top quality replacement Honda 4 button remote slimline key shell. If your remote key only has the Lock, Unlock & Boot buttons you can still use this one with the red Panic button.

As long as your remote control module still works, you can have the blade of this key cut to match your existing key and insert the remote module and you are up and running again.

Honda keys need to be cut very accurately or they can get stuck in the ignition. When we cut Honda key blades we cut them to code so that they are the same as they were when they came out of the factory. WE do not duplicate worn keys as the resulting copy will not work well and may get stuck in the ignition. Always ask the company you are going to use to cut your Honda key if they plan to cut it to code or just duplicate it.

If you do not live close by you can of course order this key shell and take it to your local key cutting shop and have them cut the blade to match your existing key. Then you can swap the remote module into the new shell and you are up and running.

It is very important to use a quality screw driver when doing this as the screw in this keys is very small and the original screws from Honda usually have thread locker on the threads to stop them coming undone. This can make it difficult to undo the screw.
