This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Renault compatible 2 button remote key using a Silca VA6 or JMA CIT-1 key blade and integrated ID46 PCF7947 remote circuit board suited to the vehicles listed below where your original key uses the identical keyblade and remote style.

To confirm this key is suited to your vehicle:

Your key blade must match
Your remote must be identical
Your transponder must be ID46 PCF7947

If you are not certain about any of this pelase feel free to pop into our workshop and we can scan the key to identify the type of transponder chip in it.

These keys use an integrated circuit board where the transponder chip and remote are on the same circuit board. Programming is done in one procedure so once the chip is programmed the remote will work as long as it is the correct circuit board int he key.

These key can only be programmed using a diagnostic tool plugged int he vehicle. We are licensed to do this and you will see the fee for this under Compatible items.

The Silca VA6 or JMA CIT-1 key blade is milled out along the middle of both side and so it is quite different to the other version of this key such as the NE73 or VAC102 which are cut along the outer edges of the key blade. Take a good look at the photos attached to make sure you are chosing the correct key type. 

You will also see under Compatible items that we sell replacement key shells if your remote works but the case is damaged. The key is supplied with a battery fitted and you can add extra batteries to your order under the Compatible Items section.
