Isuzu D-Max or MUX replacement 2 button remote key casing

This key shell was used with both the Isuzu D-Max and MU-X models between 2012 & 2019. This is the 2nd generation of remote keys used with the D-Max. The 1st generation had silver or chrome buttons and the shape of the remote part was different. The 3rd generation does look similar but has subtle differences in shape so will not suit this shell.

Please pay very close attention to the shape and style of the button as this key shell does not suit the earlier 1st generation or later 3rd generation models.

We know it can be very frustrating when the buttons on your key break and so it is difficult to press the button to lock or unlock the car. You don't need to worry or think that you must replace your entire remote.

Here we offer you a top quality replacement remote key case so that you can transfer your remote circuit board into this new case and have the key part duplicated and your are good to go. Key profile matches a JMA ISU-3D or Silca TOY43R

The transponder chip in this key sits in a slot in the shell and is often super glued into place. You will need to take great care when removing the chip to not damage it. We have found that sometimes it is easier to clone the chip and place the cloned chip in the new shell and leave the old chip in the broken shell as a spare in case anything happens to the new one. An additional charge will apply for this service.

It is always a good idea to test the battery as you have the remote open anyway. This can be done using a multi-meter if you have one. 

The change over is pretty easy to do yourself or come into our workshop in East Victoria Park and we will duplicate the key, swap the remote over for you, test the battery, clean the circuit board and check that the transmitter is functioning correctly afterwards.
