Hyundai & Kia compatible JMA HY-4 or Silca HYN6 aftermarket flip key blade

This aftermarket flip key blade fits both KD & XH style flip key remotes and suits the Hyundai & Kia vehicles listed below. Please note some of these models used slighlty different key blades for different trim levels of the vehicles for the same years. Check the photos attached and if in doubt please send us a photo of your key.

The Silca HYN6 or JMA HY-4 key blade profile was used with a number of Hyundai & Kia vehicles from the mid 1990s to around 2010.

The Silca HYN6 (JMA HY-4) key blade profile looks very similar to a number of other key blades. Things to note is the position of  the shoulder stops is pretty much in the centre of the length of the key blade. The centre grovve is symetricalwith an equal angle on both side of the groove. The centre groove is not actually in the dead centre and when you look at the tip of the key blade you will notice the groove is just to the left of centre on the top surface. The thinned edge of the key is on the right side as shown in the photo. The key is cut on a traditional edge cut type key machine. 

PLEASE NOTE THIS BLADE WILL NOT FIT GENUINE HYUNDAI & KIA FLIP KEY REMOTES AS THE PART THAT FITS INTO THE FLIP KEY IS A DIFFERENT SHAPE AND SIZE AND THE POSITIO OF THE ROLL PIN GROOVE IS ALSO DIFFERENT

To secure this key blade to the flip key we use a small roll pin. When we have cut the key blade it is then fitted to the flip key body. If you are buying this key blade along with a remote flip key and are going to have it cut & programmed where you live we will include a roll pin in the package with the key blade so that the locksmith who cuts the keyblade for you can secure it to the flip key.
