Holden Equinox Spark & Trax 2 button smart proximity key to suit 13508773 A Denso 4EA

This is a high quality aftermarket 2 button smart proximity key for use with a number of Holden models built after 2016 including:

The remote features LOCK & UNLOCK buttons only. The emergency key blade is also included in the price.

The emergency key is a Silca HU100 key profile as used on many Holden vehicles.

This proximity remote key can only be programmed to the vehicle using diagnostic equipment and we can do this for you at our East Victoria Park workshop. Just call us on (08) 6110 2693.

We charge $90 for this service if you purchase the key from us.

Alternately you can have it coded to your vehicle by a licensed locksmith or auto electrician where you live.

In the event that the battery in your remote dies, you can slide out the emergency key to open the vehicle by pressing the small chrome button on the side and pull on the keyring end of the remote. Once removed use the key to open the vehicle.

To start the Equinox you need to place the key in the left cup holder, even though your owners manual may say to place it in the right cup holder. The Equinox was designed as a left hand drive for the American market and it appears this was missed when the owners manual was edited for the Australian market.

In the Spark it appears to be you place the key face down in the front of the cup holder to do the emergency start. If unsure you can check your owners manaual for the emergency start procedure. Once the key is placed there you can put your foot on the brake and press the Start/Stop button.

This remote key is supplied with a battery already fitted and if you need a spare battery this can be ordered under the Compatible Items tab.

There is a 12 month warranty on this proximity key, so you can buy with confidence.

We strongly advise to always have a spare key for your vehicle.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
