Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 2018 onward 3 button OCHGHR-M013 smart proximity remote key

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This aftermarket 3 button Mitsubishi compatible smart key or proximity key (prox key) can be used with the models below.

You should check the back of your original key - inside where the emergency key slides out of for details matching: OUHGHR-M013 

This part number is usually also printed on the genuine circuit board as shown in the photos.

This key has the LOCK - UNLOCK & BOOT buttons. If your key does not have a boot button, you will need to look at the 2 button proximity keys and check the part number against them.

If you give your VIN to the dealer they can confirm what part number you need and will give you a price so you can compare our price to it. I thik you will find this aftermarket key is considerably cheaper than a genuine one.

This aftermarket proximity remote comes with the emergency key blade included. 

Please note this aftermarket proximity key uses a CR2025 battery where as most genuine Mitsubishi proximity keys use a CR2032 battery. You can order either from the compatible items tab.

This smart key will need to be coded to the vehicle using specialist diagnostic equipment connected to the vehicle - which we can do for you at our workshop in East Victoria Park or you can have a licensed locksmith near you do this work. 

We charge $90 to cut the key and program the proximity remone on these keys if we have supplied the key.

Programming a spare key to your Mitsubishi is pretty straight forward when you have a working key, but becomes much more expensive if you lose your only key. We strongly reccomend you always have a spare key to your vehicle.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

If you suspect your child has swallowed a button battery or placed inside any part of the body, immediately call the POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE on 13 11 26 for prompt advice. If your child is having any difficulty breathing, contact 000.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
