If the plastic casing on your Toyota Prius key is damaged but the electronics still work correctly this kit will allow you to swap the remote circuit board and the transponder chip into a new plastic housing and enure the key does not get stuck in the slot.

We see many examples of this type of Toyota Prius key where the soft plastic covering on the buttons cracks and then flaps up. This can then make it difficult for the key to go in or out of the dash slot.

It is pretty straight forward to swap over the parts but you shoudl take great care to not damage the circuit board or the small transponder chip. Or you can bring the key to us and we can do it for you and test the battery and remtoe function correctly. We can also cut the emergency key blade to fit into the new casing.
