BMW & Mini EWS immobiliser key - cut & programming service
BMW-MINI-EWS
This service is to cut the key blade and program the transpoder chip and remote to a BMW or Mini EWS 3 & 4 immobiliser system.
The cost of the key is extra.
Many BMW models from around 1999 to 2006 with the remote headed key used what was known as an EWS immobiliser. These immobilisers use a sort of rolling code encryption on the transponder chip and so in some machines it will appear as though the chip can be cloned but it will only work once in the vehicle.
To program one of these PCF7935 transponder chips correctly we must access the EWS box and read data from the immobiliser and then write that data to a new chip.
This fee covers that service and cutting the key blade for your spare key.
The cost of the key is additional to the service fee.
This service fee only applies to keys we ahve supplied. if you wish us to program a key you have purchased elsewhere a surcharge will apply if we agree to use the key at all.
