Range Rover Vogue L322 3 button remote key for EWS systems

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

These older Ranger Rover Vogue models from 2002 - 2006 used an EWS type immobiliser similar to those used in BMW vehicles of the same era. The transponder chip reads as a PCF7935 and uses a type of rolling code encryption.

The key blade in this key is on the HU92 profile again similar to BMWs and the ignition is on the centre console of the vehicle. If the ignition on your vehcile is NOT on the centre console then it is a different system and this key will NOT suit.

To program the chip of this key we will need the vehicle to be in our workshop for a couple of hours usually as accessing the EWS unit is fairly complex.

We can also make an aftermarket flip key to suit this vehicle if you would prefer that to the OEM type key.
