This proximity remote is supplied with a battery and emergency key fitted. You can purchse additional batteries under the Compatible items tab.

This remote key uses an ID-8A H-Chip proximity transponder and transmits on 433 MHz for the Australian market.

This type of proximity key can only be programmed to your vehicle by plugging in a specific diagnostic device to the vehicle. This work is doe by licensed locksmiths, some mechanics or auto-electricians. We are licensed to do this work in WA and so can supply the key, cut the emergency blade and program the remote at our workshop in East Victoria Park WA.

Losing your only key for this type of vehicle can be an extremly costly event so we strogly reccomend you get a spare key to avoid a much bigger bill and a lot of stress. Programming a key when there is a working key is fairly straight forward but becomes much more complex and costly if there is no working key.

Aftermarket remotes such as this one are generally supplied without a logo sticker. We will try where possible to supply an aftermarket logo sticker but canot gaurantee that one will be included as the manufacturer does not alway supply them with the remotes and the copyright of that logo is owned by Subaru and so cannot be duplicated without permission of the copyright owner.
