Audi Q7 2005-2014 & Audi A6 2004-2009 3 button ID8E 433 MHz flip key

Audi 4F0837220M compatible 3 button remote flip key with an integrated ID8E transponder chip on the circuit board and a 433MHz remote control.

This flip key suits the followig models as long as your original key has the part number 4F0837220M as shown in the photos.

AUDI A6L 2004 - 2009

AUDI Q7 2005 - 2014

As this is an aftermarket flip key the details printed on the shell will not match the details on a genuine key and should be ignored. The photos show the circuit board that comes inside this key and it is marked A6L - Q7 - 8E indicating that the key suits both models and has an ID8E transponder chip as part of the circuit 

This type of transponder cannot be cloned and so it must be programmed to the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool connected to the vehicle. We can program the new key to your car in our East Victoria Park workshop of you can have it cut and programmed by an automtive locksmith where you live.

Please take care when opening the back of your remote to replace the battery as there is a small plastic tab on the back cover which is very easily broken and so we advise you check out YouTube for instructions on how to safely open the back of the key and not damage this tab.

Programming a spare key when there is a working key is far easier than trying to add a key when you have lost your only working key and so we strongly advise all customers to make sure they have a spare key for their vehicles.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
