Audi A2 A3 A4 A6 A8 S3 S4 S6 S8 & TT V66U Keyline HU66 u-blade

The Keyline U-blade is designed to connect to the TKM style transponder key head to make a complete key. The TKM transponder is used for ID48 Megamos Crypto immobiliser systems and can be matched to a number of different key profiles.

The V66U is based on the Silca HU66 or JMA HU-HAA key profile which is used mostly with number of VAG vehicles including Audi, Porsche, Seat, Skoda & VW.

The HU66 key blade profile was used on many Audi models in both non-remote key and remote flip keys. If you are not sure if this key blade is suited to your car please get in touch with the make - model & year of the car and we will assist you further to determin which key you need.

The information in the table above is intended to be used as guide only. Please note some models will have a few different trim levels and some keys will not have an ID48 transponder inside. Scanning your key is the best method to confirm it is an ID48.

The price here is for the U-Blade only and you can choose the transponder head you require from the compatible items section.

If you bring your old key into the store we can duplicate it and clone the new transponder from your existing working key. 

PLEASE NOTE THE CAR MUST ALSO BE PRESENT TO MAKE A COPY OF THE ID48 TRANSPONDER.

PLEASE ALLOW 45 MINUTES FOR CUTTING THE BLADE AND CLONING THE TRANSPONDER AS A MINIMUM

The signal strength from this type of transponder head is very strong and ensures good communication with the vehicle via the antenna coil in the ignition.

Decrypting many ID 48 chips can take quite a bit of time so please make sure you book an appointment as customers who have booked an appoinment are give preference over walk in customers.
