This remote key uses an 4D+ DST40 proximity transponder and transmits on 433 MHz for the Australian market.

This type of proximity key can only be programmed to your vehicle by plugging in a specific diagnostic device to the vehicle. This work is done by licensed locksmiths, some mechanics or auto-electricians. We are licensed to do this work in WA and so can supply the key, cut the emergency blade and program the remote at our workshop in East Victoria Park WA.

We charge $90 for this service on keys we have supplied as long as you have the Security ID. If you do not have the security id the fee to extract this and program the new remote will be $150.

Losing your only key for this type of vehicle can be an extremly costly event so we strogly reccomend you get a spare key to avoid a much bigger bill and a lot of stress. Programming a key when there is a working key is fairly straight forward but becomes much more complex and costly if there is no working key.
