Nissan Dualis & Pathfinder 2 button aftermarket smart twist key shell replacment

Rerplacement shell to suit 2 button Nissan smart remote or proximity twist key used with the following Nissan models: 

This high quality composite plastic shell with rubber buttons will accept neatly the original remote part. Replacing a damaged shell with save you frustration and protect the vital electronics inside your remote from damage.

There is a transponder chip inside your original key which must be moved to the new shell. This must be very carefully handled to not damage it. The images attached show where this chip is located between the outer and inner sections of the back part of the orignal key.

When closing up these 2 sections on the new case we usuually use some contact glue to ensure it is firmly secureed together to give a longer lasting result.

While you have it open it is a good idea to test the battery and make sure it still shows 3 volts. Also take a look at the front of the circuit board and see if there is any green corrosion showing around the centre of the buttons. If there is you will need to clean the board using PCB cleaner, making sure to remove the battery before you spray any liquid onto the PCB.

Once the board is clean make sure to wait at least 30 minutes before placing the circuit board back in the shell or anywhere near the battery to ensure all the PCB cleaner has fully evaporated.

The kit includes all the parts shown. You can unscrew the emergency key blade from your old key and secure it to the new case with the screw provided.
