VW 2016 on 5K0837202BH or 5K0837202DH AES 3 button remote flip key

This top quality VW 2 button flip key is compatible with a number of VW cars as long as they match the details below.

This key uses the ID88 MQB AES transponder chip used in newer VW cars after 2016 and the remote transmits on 433 Mhz.

The remote comes ready to use with a battery fitted and spare batteries can be ordered from the compatible items tab. This style remote key use CR2032 batteries.

As this key is an aftermarket product it does not come with a VW logo on the back but you can purchase a 12mm logo sticker if you wish to place one there.

If your key still starts the car but your case is damaged then we can just replace casing for you and swap over the original electronics. Check under the Compatible Items tab for this part. 

The transponder chip and the remote part will both need to be coded to the vehicle using specialist diagnostic equipment.

This can be done by most automotive locksmiths.

Please check with them first that they are happy to program a key you have purchsed elsewhere if you plan to buy it from us but have it programmed by another company.

The vehicle will need to be there for us to code your new key and we will generally need the vehicle for between 45-60 minutes.

This key code can also come as a 3 button flip key for other VW models.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
