Alfa Romeo 159 2007 - 2012 OEM remote slot key PCF7941A transponder chip

This OEM remote slot key suits Alfa Romeo 159 models from 2007 to 2012.

It is vital you confirm the transponder type in your existing key matches ID46 PCF7941A.

These keys are almost impossible to order via an Alfa Romeo dealer now days and so re-newed OEM or new old stock OEM keys are the only option.

We have tried some aftermarket keys but the transponder data is not correct and so they will not program to the vehicle.

These keys have a reputaion for failing and so we strongly reccomend you get a spare key if you only currrently have 1 key to the vehicle.

This type of transponder cannot be cloned and so it must be programmed to the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool connected to the vehicle. We can program the new key to your car in our East Victoria Park workshop of you can have it cut and programmed by an automtive locksmith where you live.

Programming a spare key when there is a working key is far easier than trying to add a key when you have lost your only working key and so we strongly advise all customers to make sure they have a spare key for their vehicles.
