This proximity remote key is compatible with the following models as long as the original key matches exactly and is 433.92 MHz.

The remote features  LOCK - UNLOCK - REMOTE START - TAILGATE - PANIC buttons and includes the slide out emergency key.

The emergency key is a Silca HU100 key profile as used on many Holden vehicles.

This proximity remote key can only be programmed to the vehicle using diagnostic equipment and we can do this for you at our East Victoria Park workshop.

Chevrolet Silverado models from approx late 2022 moved to the CAN FD communications protocol and requires specialist programming.

A $175 FEE APPLIES TO THIS TYPE OF PROGRAMMING.

On average the dealer will charge you around $800 to supply and program one of these keys.

In the event that the battery in your remote dies, you can slide out the emergency key to open the vehicle by pressing the small button on the side and pull on the keyring end of the remote. Once removed use the key to open the vehicle. To start the motor you need to place the key, button side up in the designated sensor area. Once placed there you can press the Start/Stop button to start the vehicle.

Check your owners manual for more information on the designated locations to place the key as it varies between the various trim levels.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
