Holden sedan ute or wagon 4 button flip key shell only - no electronics

Why replace your entire remote flip key just because the case or shell has broken or the button pad has holes in it. Here we offer you a top quality replacement 4 button flip key shell for your Holden VF Commodore ute and wagon models with the remote start button just below the lock & unlock buttons.

Even though the new shell does not have the REMOTE START symbol it will still fit your PCB perfectly and your remote start will of course still work as it should. 

This shell has some major advantages over the OEM style shells:

Firstly the buttons will not perish and fall out like the OEM style keys.
Secondly this shell is secured with 3 screws making it a very firm fit.
The key loop on this key is so much stronger adding to the overall design.

This key features button symbols for: : UNLOCK - LOCK - BOOT - PANIC ALARM. Please take note of the position of each button compared to your current key.

THIS KEY BLADE IS MILLED OUT ALONG THE CENTRE OF THE BLADE AND MATCHES - SILCA HU100 OR JMA OP-11. 

As long as your remote control module still works, you can have the blade of this key cut to match your existing key and insert the remote PCB and you are up and running again.

If you come into our East Victoria Park workshop we will be happy to cut the key, swap over your case and test your battery, while you wait. It is always best to have the car present when getting the key cut so it can be properly tested for smooth operation in doors and ignition.

Please note that the dimensions shown under the DATA SHEET tab are of the flip key when the blade is folded in and should be used as a guide only.

If you do not live close by you can of course order this key shell and take it to your local key cutting shop and have them cut the blade to match your existing key. Then you can swap the remote PCB into the new shell and you are up and running.

Your original Holden flip key will be glued together and we have found these particular keys can be very tricky to get apart. You should take great care in taking the old shell apart to avoid damaging the circuit board or transponder antenna. This shell features a screw through the back cover for added firmness once assembled.

The shell does not come with a Holden logo sticker but you can carefully transfer the logo sticker from your old case to this new case. 

There are many cheap shells available online that may look similar, butmay not be made to the same standard. This shell is made to a very high standard and the machining of the key blade is very accurate. We regularly have people bring in keys that they have purchased on eBay only to find that the blade is not machined to the correct dimensions or the circuit board does not fit well in the shell etc.

Even 0.01mm difference in the dimensions of the key blade can make it not fit correctly and so not work correctly when cut.
