MG3 2024 onward genuine 3 button remote flip key

MG3 vehicles from 2024 onward came with a quite different looking flip key to the older models with 3 button. The lock button is the MG logo and it also has a BOOT & UNLOCK button.

This is a genuine 3 button flip key and it can be programmed to your MG3 vehicle offering peace of mind knowing you have a spare key.

The key must be programmed to the car using specialist diagnostic scan tools.

We can do this for you at our East Victoria Park workshop in WA or you can use a licensed locksmith where you live.

A SECURITY PIN CODE IS NEEDED TO PROGRAM THIS KEY - IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS PIN CODE WE WILL GET IT FOR YOU - THE COST IS $50 AND YOU MUST PROVIDE PHOTO ID AND PROOF OF OWNERSHIP OF THE VEHICLE.

THERE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ANY DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS THAT CAN READ THIS SECURITY PIN CODE FROM THE VEHICLE.

This type of key has an integrated ID4A transponder chip on the circuit board and when this is programmed the car the remote part is also programmed at the same time.

The flip key is supplied with a battery fitted and a key blade and roll pin already fitted. The key blade will need to be cut to match the vehicle. Any quality locksmith will be able to do this for you if you are having it done locally where you live.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
