Ford Falcon BA Ute 2002-2005 2 button ID62 aftermarket flip key

This aftermarket 2 button remote flip-key can be used with Ford Falcon BA Series Ute models from 2002 to 2005. This remote transmits on 434 MHz and the key uses an ID62 transponder chip inside it.

The BA Falcon Ute was supplied with a separate remote and key but you can combine those 2 items into one with this upgraded remote flip key.

The key blade was known as a TIBBE key or Silca FO21 and was very different to other car keys of the time. We cut all TIBBE keys to factory code so even if your old key is worn, you new key will be the same as the day the car left the factory.

The transponser chip inside this key can only be coded to the vehicle using diagnostic equipment by a licensed locksmith or mechanic. We offer this service at our East Victoria Park workshop or you can have it done locally to you.

The remote part of the key is programmed using a manual process also referred to as an onboard process or in car programmable. 

As this is a NOT a genuine product you will notice it does NOT features a Ford logo on the back of the key and has no part details in the section where the key blade folds into as would be normal on a genuine key. This flip key style is generic and the circuit board can have data written to it to suit many different vehicles. You may have a key that looks identical to it and be using that key with a different make and model as the data written to the circuit board inside it is different.

This flip key uses a key blade know as a TIBBE key as used with the majority of early Ford vehicles.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
