Mazda 6 GG & GY 2002-2008 2 button Visteon 41528 fip key

Aftermarket Mazda compatible 2 button remote flip-key can be used with Mazda 6 GG & GY series models from 2002 to 2008. This remote transmits on 434 MHz and the key uses an ID8C transponder chip inside it.

The transponser chip inside this key can be cloned or added using a fixed pincode calculated from codes on the immobiliser box by a licensed locksmith. We offer this service at our East Victoria Park workshop or you can have it done locally to you.

The remote part of the key is programmed using a manual process also referred to as an onboard process or in car programmable. 

Important to check that your remote is marked as shown in the images with the following data:

There may also be other information printed in this part of the remote but the data shown above is what will confirm that this aftermarket remote is compatible with your original key. Please take great care when separating the remote and key sections of your flip key. There are videos on YouTube that show how to do this without damaging your key. 

As this is a NOT a genuine Mazda product you will notice it does NOT features a Mazda logo on the back of the key and has no part details in the section where the key blade folds into as would be normal on a genuine key.

This flip key style is generic and the circuit board can have data written to it to suit many different vehicles. You may have a key that looks identical to it and be using that key with a different make and model as the data written to the circuit board inside it is different.  

If you are unsure, simply send us the VIN for your vehicle and we will confirm if this key suits your vehicle. We do stock some genuine Mazda flip keys if you would prefer a genuine key, however we reccomend this aftermarket key as the design is musch stronger than the genuine Mazda keys.

We can also make you a non-remote transponder key if you simply need a cheaper option without a remote. You will see these items listed under Compatible Items below.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

If you suspect your child has swallowed a button battery or placed inside any part of the body, immediately call the POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE on 13 11 26 for prompt advice. If your child is having any difficulty breathing, contact 000.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
