This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This remote was very popular but there are not many of these available to sell anymore. It can replace the other remotes shown in the photos attached. 

To ensure the remote you have is the same as this one here and works on 433.92mhz you will need to remove the screws from the back of the remote and open it up. On the circuit board you will see the transmitter as shown in the photo. This should have 433 engraved on it, this indicated the operating frequency. If is starts with 303 it is not compatible as this is the old obsolete version.

Many of our remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we are happy to provide instruction on how to do this. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

If you have any issues during programming please call us and we will talk you through it. If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.
