Range Rover Voque from 2010 onward - 5 button genuine smart proximity key 433 MHz

This genuine Range Rover smart proximity key can be added as a spare to Range Rover Voque models from 2010 onward which are using the same style smart key. Part number is CH22-15K601-BB or 5E0U30247-AE C2BE8833.

If you open the side chrome section following the instructions in the photos attached you should see the part number engraved on the emergency key holder. it should have 5E0U50347.

Models built after 2014 may also use this key but will require special coding process as the KVM (Keyless Vehicle Management) module in these vehicles will mostly be a FK72 which is locked and so programming of a new key to this module is much more complex, even at the dealer.

The key comes with a battery fitted and with a blank aftermarket emergency key blade inside which can be used to open the car door if the remote battery becomes flat. The emergency key will need to be cut to match your original key.

This aftermarkey key looks and works just like th original but does not feature the Land Rover logo on the back of the case. The remote has 5 buttons for LOCK - UNLOCK - LIGHTS - BOOT - PANIC ALARM.

This type of key is called a proximity or smart key as it allows you to enter the vehicle and start the engine while the key is still in your pocket. Should the battery in the key run out you can still open the vehicle using the emergency key blade and you can start the car by placing the back of the remote against the centre of the plastic cover on the steering column. 

Coding a new key can easily be done if you have a key already and so losing your only key can end in a very very expensive exercise to get a new one coded to your vehicle if you no longer have a working key.

We strongly reccomend you always have a spare key for your vehicle and keep it in a secure and safe place.

This key can only be coded to the vehicle using a diagnostic tool when at least 1 key is available. We can do this and cut the key blade at our workshop in East Victoia Park in Perth or you can have it done by your local licensed locksmith.

This key features the HU101 key blade profile which is cut using a milling type key machine often referred to as a wave cut or laser cut. Please dee the attached photos to understand how to open the battery and emergency key compartments on your key.

From 2014 onward the vast majority of Landrover vehicles had an update to the KVM (keyless vehicle management) module which prevents even the dealer from adding a spare key to the vehicle using OBD devices. If your vehicle is 2014 or later we advise that the KVM version is checked before a diagnostic tool is used to code a spare smart key as trying to code one to a vehicle using the FK72 KVM can damage the vehicle and end up costing considerable amounts of money.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

If you suspect your child has swallowed a button battery or placed inside any part of the body, immediately call the POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE on 13 11 26 for prompt advice. If your child is having any difficulty breathing, contact 000.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
